We're glad you're here. Here's how billing, scheduling, and student safety work together to support your child's progress.
Scheduling and Billing:
There are no contracted minimum number of hours. We'll schedule classes as requested and work with you to set a recurring schedule after the first few introductory classes.
Your card on file is generally charged once a month, on the first, for teaching hours scheduled for the upcoming month. If you're new and enroll after the first, your center will confirm the timing and amount of the initial partial-month charge.
If you are a scholarship student, please refer to the SUFS specific section below for more applicable details.
Billing for scheduled classes
Classes you schedule with the center, classes in a recurring schedule you approve, and classes your student or another person you authorize books directly will appear on your invoice and are payable under the center's payment terms, whether or not your student attends. The caregiver who signs this agreement is responsible for those invoices. The notice and rescheduling policies above still apply; the center won't charge for a class it cancels or for another arrangement it confirms in writing.
Callouts, Breaks, and Exits:
Because monthly tuition is paid in advance, please give your center 30 days' written notice by text or email for planned breaks and exits. This gives the center time to update your schedule so you are not charged for classes you do not plan to use.
If life happens and you need to call out with less than 30 days' notice, please contact the center by phone, text, or email by noon for an afternoon class or by 8 p.m. for a morning class. With timely notice, we'll work with you to reschedule without penalty.
Progress Updates, Teaching Area:
We'll reach out to schedule Progress Update Meetings routinely based on your program and weekly attendance. We'll review what your student has been working on, what's improved, and what still needs attention. You'll receive an email with a scheduling link, and the center may also send an invitation based on your schedule and your student's progress.
To help teachers give every student their focus and attention, please avoid entering the teaching area, interrupting a teacher mid-session, or requesting an unscheduled meeting longer than a quick check-in. If you'd like us to review homework, discuss a school update, or help with anything else, please call or email the center in advance.
Study Hall & Safety Points:
We charge only for scheduled time with a tutor. Students are welcome to arrive early to work independently on homework or meet a parent in the parking lot for pickup.
For safety and clarity, staff supervise students during scheduled learning time inside the center. Parents and guardians are responsible before or after that time and outside the center. GradePower Learning cannot accept responsibility for a student's care outside scheduled session times or outside the center.
Please tell us about allergies, health concerns, or other accommodations. Our staff are educators, not medical professionals; in a medical emergency, we'll call 911.
Please also keep the center informed about authorized pickup and drop-off contacts, anyone who must not pick up your student, and any other accommodations we should know about.

We don't have any any minimums or large commitments required in order to get your child started. That said, our experience is that students take at least 40-hours worth of work to remediate a single grade level in one subject. We'll be your partner in this journey and will help with targeted interventions, cognitive development, and will keep you updated with regular check-ins but it is a journey worth committing to for your student's long-term benefit.
We want our students to start early so they are best prepared for their college entrance exams. That is why we offer a guarantee which kicks-in after 30-hours of our small-group SAT or ACT test prep program. Any hours you deem necessary after 30 are completely free to you. We just retain the right to reasonably schedule them around our availability.
Our Day Academy for homeschooling students is a unique blend between a pod-school and private tutoring for homeschooling families. Our small groups are kept to 5:1 and classes run 12-hours per week following the local public school calendar.
It's important to remember that your child is a homeschooler. We'll take care of all the reading, writing, and math here, along with anything else individually tailored in your students plan, but homeschooling is about more than just those core academics.
We will maintain your child's portfolio and complete end-of-year testing on your behalf with one of our certified teachers.
Each Team Academy is unique, but we'll be the education partner for your child's team this year. We'll provide the instruction, curriculum, and academic coaching to keep your student-athlete on track.
If you prefer to pay in smaller amounts, the center may offer a weekly payment plan by dividing your monthly invoice into four payments scheduled on the first four Fridays of the month. Weekly payments do not change for missed or rescheduled classes until the next month.
Payments are due within 60 days of the class date. If payment has not been received within 60 days and no payment plan has been arranged directly with the center, the center may refer the account to collections. If that is required, an amount equal to the center's cost of any collection action will be added to the invoice.
We are a direct-pay provider for the New Worlds Reading, Unique Abilities, and Personalized Education Plan (homeschooling) Step Up for Students Scholarships. If you provided your student's SUFS ID, we'll first use the funds you authorize through EMA toward your bill. Here's how to authorize funds in EMA.
